Joel s talent and ability to engage both staff and students made for an exciting and rewarding one-hour assembly. As one student told me, This was the best assembly we ve had since this school was made! Joel integrates his message of respect and personal responsibility with a wonderful collection of his from the 50 s and 60 s. He involves students and staff members as active participants throughout the assembly. From Elvis Presley to music from the Lion King (The Lion Sleeps Tonight), students are clapping their hands and staff is singing along! I highly recommend this program for elementary students as one that will not only reinforce the important concepts of respect and accountability for one s choices, but the entertainment and interaction is stimulating and refreshing for all fortunate enough to be in the audience!
