Dear Joel: I am writing to let you know that your assembly was the highlight of our Back to the 50 s day. We have received many positive comments about your program including "It was the best assembly we have ever had! . I m not sure who enjoyed it more- the students or the teachers. As I observed the gym, toes were tapping; everyone was singing and having a great time. It was amazing how you could get the students screaming and participating one moment and the next moment they were giving you their undivided attention. The message which you conveyed, Stay in School and Drugs and Dreams Don t Mix had a positive impact on our students. It is refreshing to see a person fulfill his dreams, continue to be a positive role model, and maintain his values and standards. Your performance surpassed our expectations.
